02What we collect

Enquiry details

Your name, company, email, telephone, country and whatever you write to us when you book a demo or send an enquiry.

Account details

The name, email and role of each user on a subscription, and the settings and preferences on the account.

Billing details

The company name, billing address and tax registration needed to invoice you, plus a record of the payments taken. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never reach our systems.

Customer Data

The projects, product data, drawings, documents and client or vendor records you put into the application. This may contain personal data about your own staff and contacts; for that data we act as your processor and the Data Processing Addendum applies.

Technical data

Server logs of requests to the application, including IP address, time and the page or endpoint requested, kept for security and diagnosis.

03What the public website does

The public website at forgeepic.com sets no cookies, uses no analytics and carries no advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing about your visit is stored in your browser.

It loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to serve the font files. That is the only third party the public site contacts.

When you sign in to the application, we use storage that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. See the Cookie Policy.

04Why we use it, and on what basis

To answer an enquiry

Because you asked us to, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

To provide the service

To perform our contract with you.

To take payment and keep accounts

To perform our contract, and to meet the tax and accounting obligations that apply to us.

To keep the service secure and working

Our legitimate interest in protecting the service and its customers.

To send service messages

To perform our contract. Marketing email, if we ever send any, is sent only with consent and can be stopped at any time.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who process it on our instructions in order to run the service:

• Cloud hosting and application infrastructure.
• Object storage for the files and documents the application produces.
• Payment processing.
• Email delivery.
• AI model providers, for the features that are driven by the co-pilot.

We will also disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. The current list of the named providers behind those categories is available on request from info@cholandynamics.com.

06International transfers

We are based in India and our providers may process data in India, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries. Where personal data leaves the EEA or the UK we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum to them. Copies are available on request.

07How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as the conversation is live, and afterwards for a reasonable period as a record of it.
• Account and Customer Data: for as long as the subscription is active. When it ends you can ask us to return or delete the data; otherwise we delete it in the ordinary course after a wind-down period.
• Invoices and accounting records: for as long as Indian tax law requires.
• Server logs: for a limited period, for security and diagnosis.

08Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and access to production systems is restricted to the people who need it. Each customer’s data is separated from every other customer’s. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and, where the law requires it, the relevant authority.

09Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have data deleted, or its use restricted;
• object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests;
• receive data you gave us in a portable form;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

Write to info@cholandynamics.com and we will answer. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.

Where the personal data is inside your own Customer Data, the request should go to the customer who controls it; we will help them answer it.

10Children

Forge Epic is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

11Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is material we will tell account holders directly.
